  • FULL BREAKFAST  is included at Chat-A-Whyle Restaurant.
  • Lunch and rest breaks will be made as needed .
  • Arrive in Troy, MI at the EMBASSY SUITES for a ONE NIGHT STAY  LUGGAGE SERVICE is included.

Sunday, August 18

  • Check out and depart for Detroit , MI
  • ADMISSION is included at the HENERY FORD MUSEUM.  America's greatest history attraction. America's largest indoor / outdoor historical museum celebrates our past, present and future through exhibits, hands-on experiences and docent interpretation. 
  • Depart for Hillman, MI 
  • Check into the THUNDER BAY RESORT for a relaxing ONE NIGHT STAY.  Nestled within the beautiful backdrop of Northern Michigan, Thunder Bay Resort's luxury cabins, charming chalets, or spacious villias are the perfect place for your home-away-from-home.elk
  • This afternoon, you will enjoy a unique ELK VIEWING CARRIAGE RIDE.
  • Following the Carriage Ride, a FIVE-COURSE GOURMET DINNER and WINE TASTING is included inside beautiful Elk Antler Log Cabin. This delicious dinner is cooked on century old wood stoves:  Hearty Chicken Soup, Baja Salad, Shrimp Scampi, Crown Pork Roast, Sorbet, and a variety of local wines to enjoy.

Monday, August 19

  • Depart for St. Ignace, MI
  • FERRY RIDE is included to MACKINAC ISLAND.  As you step upon the island,  you will feel like you stepped back in time. Horse-drawn vehicles transport everything from supplies for the businesses on the island to passangers. Motorized vehicles are not allowed. For anyone who has seen the movie "Somewhere in Time," there will be moments of  dèjà vu as you see horse-drawn carriages traveling around this picturesque island.
  • Check into the BICYCLE STREET INN & SUITES for TWO NIGHT STAY.  Superbly located on Main Street in the center of downtown Mackinac Island, the Bicycle Street Inn & Suites features rooms with walkout balconies offering unparalleled views of Main Street. Some roomsbicycleinn

Tuesday, August 20

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • This morning, experience the history anf charm of MACKINAC ISLAND on your NARRATED HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE TOUR. Prepare yourself for a tour like no other! What you will experience is by far the most enjoyable and authentic way to view the island.
  • The tour will end at the Grand Hotel, for their FABULOUS LUNCH BUFFET.
  • Following lunch, take some time to relax on the hotel's porch. At 660 feet, the Grand Hotel's front porch is the worlds largest and has one of the most spectacular views of the straits. You can wonder down Main Street and visit some of Mackinac Island's UNIQUE SHOPS. Be sure to taste some of the famous Mackinac Island fudge.
  • Dinner is on your own this evening, with many resturants to choose from.

Wednesday, August 21


  • Thursday,  August 22BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Check out and depart aboard the FERRY back to Mackinac City.
  • Depart for Frankenmuth, MI
  • A quick lunch stop will be made en route.
  • On arrival, enjoy a visit to BRONNER'S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND, a fascinating year-round attraction for all ages. Bronner's was founded in 1945 by Wally Bronner. When Wally painted his first sign, little did he dream that his small business would one day become the world's largest Christmas store!
  • Check into a local MARV HERZOG HOTEL for a ONE NIGHT STAY.
  • DINNER is included at a local resturant.
  • You'll want to check out the Bavarian Inn's 50-foot GLOCKENSPIEL TOWER. It houses a magnificent 35-bell carillon, a beautiful figurine movement, and an illuminated clock, all imported from Germany! Before striking the hour, and on ferranteeach quarter hour, the clock sounds the 5-bell Westminster chime. At 3, 6, and 9 pm each day, the Glockenspiel plays several selections which are immediately followed by figurine movements depicting the legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
