Sunday, September 23
  • Depart from the Terminal for Yarmouth, MA (8 hours travel time)
  • FULL BREAKFAST is included at Cracker Barrel in Binghamton.
  • Lunch and rest breaks will be made as needed. 
  • Arrive in Yarmouth at approximately 5:00 pm and check in for a THREE NIGHT STAY at the RIVIERA BEACH RESORT, located on the Nantucket Sound.  Enjoy the INDOOR POOL and OUTDOOR POOL, as well as a PRIVATE BEACH
  • DINNER is included at the BLUE WATER RESORT, located next to the hotel. gingerbreadhouse

Monday, September 24

  • HEARTY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Depart from the hotel with a LOCAL GUIDE for touring to WOODS HOLE.
  • Board a ROUNDTRIP FERRY (passengers and motorcoach) on the STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY for Martha's Vineyard. 
  • Upon arrival on MARTHA'S VINEYARD  ISLAND, enjoy a COMPLETE ISLAND TOUR on the motorcoach, including: a walk through of the "GINGERBREAD COTTAGES" in Oak Bluffs, scenic touring along the ocean where "JAWS" was filmed, free time in colonial EDGARTOWN for lunch and shopping, and a PHOTO STOP at the gray cliffs of Aquinnah, "Gay Head." 
  • RETURN SAILING from Martha's Vineyard
  • LOBSTER DINNER is included at the FLYING BRIDGE
  • Return to the hotel approximately 9 pm. 

Tuesday, September 25

  • Depart with a LOCAL GUIDE for the Ocean Street docks in Hyannis. 
  • Sail on HY-LINE'S HIGH SPEED FERRY (passengers only) to NANTUCKET ISLAND. The island looks much as it did during its heyday as a prosperous whaling and shipping port of the 1800s with cedar shingled homes and elegant whaling mansions lining the cobblestone streets.
  • Upon arrival, you will tour the NANTUCKET WHALING MUSEUM, view the collection of whaling artifacts and memorabilia, including longboats, harpoons, scrimshaw, and marvel at the complete skeleton of a 46-foot Sperm whale suspended from the ceiling. 
  • Enjoy some FREE TIME to explore the upscale boutiques, gift shops, museums and art galleries downtown. 
  • Lunch will be on your own at one of the many restaurants in town...sure to suit any taste!
  • This afternoon, board an ISLAND BUS and TOUR ACROSS NANTUCKET to the quaint village of 'Sconset.'  See cranberry bogs, rolling farmland, quiet villages and pounding surf! 
  • RETURN SAILING from Nantucket to Hyannis. 
  • Tonight, DINNER is included at ALBERTO'S RISTORANTE

Wednesday, September 26

  • HEARTY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included at the hotel. 
  • Check out and depart for Newport
  • Enjoy FREE TIME for lunch on your own in Newport. Enjoy the many shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants that line the beautiful harbor!
  • Next, relax on a NARRATED CRUISE OF NEWPORT HARBOR and NARRAGANSETT BAY to experience the scenery, fair winds and deep bay that draws sailors and cruise ships from all over the world! See historic Fort Adams, oceanfront mansions, sailing ships of all sizes and many points of interest! 
  • At approximately 3 pm, we will check to the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS in Middletown for a 2 NIGHT STAY. Your hotel features large, contemporary rooms with a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker, and individual heat control. Enjoy the INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOLS and FITNESS CENTER
  • Meet your LOCAL GUIDE for a DRIVING TOUR OF NEWPORT.  You will see the colonial "Point" section of town, drive along Bellevue Avenue past the magnificent "summer cottages," enjoy the ocean views and estates as you travel scenic 10-mile OCEAN DRIVE
  • DINNER is included at a local restaurant, overlooking Newport Harbor. 

Thursday, September 27

  •  HEARTY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included at the hotel. 
  • At 9:30 am, we will depart on the INTERSTATE NAVIGATION FERRY CRUISE (passengers only) to BLOCK ISLAND
  • Following the one-hour cruise, we will arrive on Block Island, called the "Bermuda of the North" and noted for its' outstanding beaches, wildflowers, miles of stonewalls and rolling terrain. 
  • On arrival, we will take in a NARRATED DRIVING TOUR OF BLOCK ISLAND.  Learn about Island life as you travel past meadows, moors and marshy ponds, stopping for photos at SOUTH EAST LIGHT, overlooking the dramatic cliffs known as MOHEGAN BLUFFS
  • LUNCH is included at the beautiful, historic NATIONAL HOTEL on the porch (weather permitting). 
  • After lunch, you will have some FREE TIME for browsing on your own along Main Street. 
  • RETURN SAILING from Block Island to Point Judith. 
  • Return to the hotel, where dinner will be on your own.breakersmansion

Friday, September 28

  • HEARTY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included at the hotel. 
  • A SELF-GUIDED AUDIO TOUR is included at THE BREAKERS, considered the grandest of Newport's "summer cottages." Built as the summer estate of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, it took an international team of craftsmen and artisans to create the grand Italian Renaissance-style palazza that features 70 rooms, and rare marble, alabaster and gilded wood throughout.
  • Enjoy some FREE TIME in Newport for lunch on your own before departing. 
  • Return to Wellsboro at approximately 9:30 pm, with meal stops made en route.
